Hub Assistant — Privacy & Support
Published by A.I MY · Reviewed 24 October 2026
How Hub Assistant uses information
Hub Assistant helps teachers use VAS PowerSchool and PowerHub with guidance, display assistance and local work reminders.
It processes relevant page content, names, relationships and workflow state in your browser. Name assistance can request information from PowerSchool using your existing session. The current development build defaults to automatic name display; original PowerSchool names can be selected in settings.
Settings, progress and deadlines are stored locally. Optional desktop reminders can show deadline titles. The bundled chime uses audio playback without microphone access.
Grade Entry can open Filter and Summary automatically. Teachers keep control of grade entry, Fill, Save, sending messages and publishing posts.
No school data is sent to an A.I MY server or analytics service. No advertising, data sales or persistent student roster database.
The development manifest uses storage, alarms, offscreen and optional notifications. It runs on the two supported VAS PowerSchool sites.
